Wyszków Music School

The Wyszków Music School (Wyszków, Poland) is a place that teaches music to everyone — children, teenagers, adults, beginners, and working artists. The range is wide: piano, keyboards, guitars, bass, ukulele, violin, viola, cello, saxophone, clarinet, drums, voice, music theory, and ensemble playing. The director and teachers are active, performing musicians. The brief called for a website that would work for all of them — readable for a seven-year-old’s parent, credible for a professional looking for a rehearsal space, approachable for a shy music amateur who wants his skills to grow, and clear enough to answer all the most practical questions before anyone picks up the phone.

The palette came from the existing logo: yellow and white on a dark grey background. It gave me a colour scale that is grounded without being heavy and warm enough to feel welcoming. To make the offer easier to scan, I prepared an icon set featuring small realistic instruments — one icon per discipline. It gave the long listing more lightness and visual clarity, without adding noise.

I went to Wyszków to photograph the classrooms myself — the concert hall and the practice rooms — so the site shows a real place.

The site has been running since 2017.  szkolamuzycznawyszkow.pl
