Branding, Publications, and Digital Platform Klub Pod Aloesem by Elżbieta Olejnik

This project was developed for Elżbieta Olejnik, a Polish chemist who has dedicated much of her professional life to the study and promotion of aloe vera and its applications. Her work combines a scientific background with long-term practical research, and the project required a digital and visual framework that could convey both credibility and accessibility.
I was responsible for creating the visual identity, preparing digital publications, and building the website and e-commerce infrastructure.

Visual Identity
I designed the logo and established a consistent visual direction for Klub Pod Aloesem. The identity needed to reflect scientific reliability while remaining approachable and aligned with themes of natural health and education. The result is a restrained, clear mark supported by typography and layout principles that ensure consistency across web and publication formats.
eBook Editing and Typesetting (EPUB)
A substantial part of the project involved preparing digital book publications. I edited and typeset multiple eBooks using Adobe InDesign, structuring long-form content for clarity, readability, and technical compatibility.
The process included:
- Text preparation and structural editing
- Typography selection and hierarchy definition
- Layout optimization for digital reading
- Export and validation in EPUB format
- Testing across major e-reader environments
The objective was to create publications that are visually consistent, technically stable, and comfortable to read across devices.
Website and Online Shop
I designed and implemented the website (klubpodaloesem.pl) as the central platform for communication, content distribution, and sales. The site presents the author’s background, scientific perspective, and publication catalogue in a structured and accessible way. The architecture prioritises clarity and straightforward navigation. I also developed an online shop optimised specifically for downloadable products. The checkout process was intentionally simplified to suit digital goods such as eBooks, minimising friction and unnecessary steps. The system supports secure payment processing and automated file delivery.
The platform was built on WordPress and configured to ensure performance, stability, and ease of future content management.
Outcome
The final result is an integrated system connecting brand identity, digital publishing, and e-commerce functionality. The project supports Elżbieta Olejnik’s work by providing a professional environment for presenting her research and efficiently distributing her publications.
This case demonstrates my ability to combine branding, editorial design, digital publishing workflows, and functional web implementation into a cohesive, working ecosystem.
