Bale i Detale

I’ve created this logo for a competition for the best logo design of Bale i Detale. Although I didn’t win in this competition, I decided to add this project to my portfolio anyway.

The Bale I Detale (“Wood & Details”) is a Polish web portal dedicated to wooden houses – it shows many stories, examples and solutions for the design and construction of wooden buildings. It also offers support and advice during all stages of construction work. In the description of the project, I’ve found some symbols preferred by the portal owner. I decided to create a simple sign showing the main subject of Bale i Detale. I chose tree rings as the characteristic symbol of wood, and I placed a house in the centre of it. Et voila! That’s how this classy and straightforward logo was made.
